The best corporate venue in Miami comes down to three things: headcount, format, and which side of Biscayne Bay your attendees sleep on.
This guide covers 18 venues across those categories. You’ll find capacities, the prices venues actually publish, and the operational details that usually surface only after the deposit is paid: exclusive caterers, sound curfews, police requirements, and the weeks when Miami rates spike.
Quick comparison
For conferences above 1,000 people, the Miami Beach Convention Center, Fontainebleau Miami Beach, and InterContinental Miami carry most of the city’s large-format business. For executive retreats, The Biltmore and The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne offer privacy and on-site rooms.
Client receptions and galas suit PAMM, Frost Science, and Vizcaya, which trade ballroom carpet for bay views and make natural stages for a magician and mentalist in Miami. For product launches, The Temple House and Faena Forum hand production teams a blank canvas with the technology already built in.

How to shortlist a Miami venue
Before you compare ballrooms, settle four things.
Where attendees stay
Miami Beach and the mainland are connected by causeways, and a 3-mile ride from Brickell to South Beach can take 45 minutes at 5 p.m. If your room block is on the beach, keep the venue on the beach. If it’s downtown or in Brickell, stay on the mainland, where Metrorail and the free Metromover cover most hotels.
Format ratio
A 400-person conference with 12 breakouts needs a hotel or convention center. A 400-person dinner with no breakouts opens up museums, estates, and waterfront decks. Those usually cost less in site fees than an equivalent ballroom, but more in rentals and production.
Weather exposure
Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30, and summer afternoons bring daily storms. Any outdoor portion needs an indoor or tented fallback, written into the contract.
Vendor control
Many of Miami’s cultural venues require exclusive caterers and AV partners. That fixes a big part of your budget before you ever choose a menu. Ask for the vendor list on the first call.
Large conferences and conventions
Miami Beach Convention Center
The Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) is the default for events that need exhibit space. After a $640 million renovation, it now has a Grand Ballroom, 500,000 square feet of exhibition halls, four junior ballrooms, 84 breakout rooms, and outdoor terraces. It holds LEED Silver certification, which matters if your company reports event emissions.

The MBCC hosts Art Basel Miami Beach and the Miami International Boat Show, and it’s the site of Sibos 2026, the global financial services conference, in its first Miami edition. Those citywide events set the booking calendar. Check the MBCC schedule before you lock dates, even if you’re booking a different venue nearby. Hotel rates across South Beach follow MBCC occupancy.
Best for: trade shows, association meetings, and conferences where the expo floor drives revenue.
Fontainebleau Miami Beach
Fontainebleau is the largest self-contained meeting hotel on Miami Beach. Its original conference center has 107,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, including three ballrooms totaling 62,000 square feet, a 15,000-square-foot meeting center with two permanent boardrooms, and seven conference suites. The largest room, the Sparkle Ballroom, ranges from 8,619 to 31,358 square feet and holds 450 to 2,300 guests under 22-foot ceilings.

In late 2024, the hotel added the five-story Coastal Convention Center, which brings another 45,000 square feet: a divisible 16,500-square-foot ballroom, a 9,500-square-foot junior ballroom, 15 meeting rooms, and the 7,000-square-foot Tides Rooftop Terrace overlooking Biscayne Bay. With 1,504 guest rooms on site, a full conference can run without a single shuttle.
Two operational notes from the venue’s own FAQs. Outdoor events must end by 10:30 p.m. under the Miami Beach sound ordinance, while indoor ballroom events can run until 2 a.m. The hotel also permits outside vendors and insured outside caterers, which is rare at this scale.
Best for: conferences of 500 to 2,000 that want rooms, meetings, and evening events under one roof.
InterContinental Miami
InterContinental Miami sits at 100 Chopin Plaza, between the Brickell financial district and Bayfront Park. It offers 35 meeting rooms and more than 100,000 square feet of meeting and exhibition space, with venues that hold up to 3,000 guests. The 13,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom holds up to 2,000, and the Bayfront Ballroom seats 550 behind floor-to-ceiling windows facing the bay and port.

The hotel’s SkyLawn is a 35,000-square-foot rooftop green space, one of the few outdoor lawns downtown that can host a reception on the scale of a general session. The hotel has also announced a full interior renovation of its meeting space, covering the Grand Ballroom and all 33 meeting rooms. Ask your sales manager which rooms will be finished by your dates.
Best for: financial services, Latin American regional meetings, and groups flying in through MIA.
Hyatt Regency Miami and the James L. Knight Center
The Hyatt Regency Miami has 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space on the Miami River, and it connects to the James L. Knight Center, a 5,000-seat auditorium that converts to a 1,000-person seated dinner. That makes it one of the few Miami venues where a keynote for several thousand people and the breakout program share a building. The Regency Ballroom on the Terrace Level holds 1,000 banquet-style or 2,000 for a reception, and it divides into five rooms.

Best for: annual kickoffs, awards shows, and conferences with a large plenary.
JW Marriott Marquis Miami and Hilton Miami Downtown
These two downtown hotels cover the mid-size bracket. JW Marriott Marquis Miami has 80,000 square feet of function space, including a 20,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom. It also has a 50,000-square-foot indoor sports complex with an NBA-approved basketball court, a ready-made team-building venue that no weather forecast can cancel.

Hilton Miami Downtown offers 65,000 square feet of renovated meeting space on a single level. A single-floor layout cuts transition time between sessions, and planners notice that on day two of a three-day program.
Best for: 200 to 800-person conferences that want downtown pricing rather than beachfront pricing.
Loews Miami Beach
Loews Miami Beach has 65,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor function space in the Art Deco District, with 790 guest rooms. The Americana Ballroom covers roughly 27,600 square feet across four salons, with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the lawn and ocean.
The 6,270-square-foot Poinciana Ballroom, 21 additional meeting rooms, and a 16-seat executive boardroom handle breakouts, and the Americana Lawn hosts receptions beside the beach. AV runs through Encore on site.

The hotel sits a short walk from the MBCC, so it also works as a headquarters hotel for groups exhibiting there.
Best for: oceanfront meetings of 300 to 1,500 in South Beach.
Executive retreats and off-sites
The Biltmore Hotel, Coral Gables
The Biltmore is a National Historic Landmark on 150 acres, and it hosted the first Summit of the Americas in 1994. It offers more than 75,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space across the hotel and the adjacent Conference Center of the Americas: 23 meeting spaces, three ballrooms, two amphitheaters, and function space for up to 1,000 people. The largest ballroom measures 6,528 square feet under a 46-foot ceiling, and most meeting rooms have natural daylight.

Location is the practical advantage. The hotel is about 5.8 miles from Miami International Airport, a drive of roughly 20 minutes that avoids downtown traffic. A Donald Ross golf course, a spa, and the Biltmore pool fill the afternoon program without a bus transfer.
Best for: leadership retreats, board meetings, and incentive trips of 50 to 400.
The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne
After a $100 million renovation completed in December 2025, the 421-room Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne offers more than 37,000 square feet of meeting and event space across 26 rooms.
The 10,140-square-foot Ritz-Carlton Ballroom holds receptions of up to 1,400, theater seating for 1,200, and banquets for 680. The 9,576-square-foot Grand Lawn takes receptions of up to 2,500, and the North Pool hosts outdoor events for 600.

Key Biscayne is an island reached by a single causeway, and that cuts both ways. Attendees stay put and stay focused, but off-site dinners in the city add travel time. Full and partial buyouts are available on request, which makes this one of the few Miami resorts where a large company can control the entire property.
Best for: incentive programs and multi-day retreats where attendee focus matters more than nightlife access.
Museums, estates, and cultural venues
Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM)
PAMM, designed by Herzog & de Meuron, sits on Biscayne Bay in Museum Park and rents 200,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space for groups of 10 to 5,000. The East Portico, its most booked space, seats 500 at tables or holds 1,200 for a reception. The Auditorium seats up to 250 for presentations, and the Hoffman Boardroom, with the adjoining Northern Trust Terrace, handles board meetings of about 60 seated.

PAMM publishes its rates, which is rare in this category. Its published guide lists the East Portico at $16,500, the Lobby Terrace at $11,000 for evening use, and the Auditorium from $4,000 to $5,500 depending on configuration. Museum buyouts are required for groups of 300 or more.
Constellation Culinary Group is the exclusive caterer, Everlast Productions is the exclusive AV partner, and all décor must be self-standing. Rates exclude Miami Art Week, when corporate donor events take priority.
Best for: client receptions and dinners of 100 to 1,000 with a downtown hotel block.
Frost Science
The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science sits next to PAMM and pairs a planetarium with a 500,000-gallon aquarium. Event spaces include The Deep, a 3,800-square-foot room beneath the aquarium’s 31-foot oculus lens; a 250-seat full-dome planetarium for presentations; a 3,255-square-foot rooftop terrace for up to 180; a covered atrium for 400; and a 21,000-square-foot outdoor plaza for up to 1,200.
Level 5 holds three breakout rooms from 780 to 1,353 square feet with professional AV. Full-museum events reach about 3,000 guests.

The planetarium is the difference-maker. A product reveal or keynote on a fulldome screen with surround sound is hard to replicate in a hotel. Constellation is also the exclusive caterer here, so food and beverage budgets for a PAMM event and a Frost event will look similar.
Best for: galas, science and tech company events, and team-building programs.
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
Vizcaya is a Gilded Age estate and National Historic Landmark on the bay in Coconut Grove. It runs as a public museum during the day, so private events happen in the evening only, with exclusive use of the courtyard, terraces, and gardens for 100 to 1,000 guests.

Vizcaya’s rules shape the budget more than any other venue on this list. It requires a $10,000 deposit within two weeks of date approval, and half of it is non-refundable. Tenting is required for any event over 100 guests on the upper East Terrace.
You may use only caterers, planners, and vendors from Vizcaya’s approved list, which is published each October. For events over 200 guests, Vizcaya recommends Miami-Dade police for traffic control at $150 per officer per hour, with a four-hour minimum. Third-party wedding guides put base rental fees in the low $20,000s for 100 guests, before tents and load-in.
Best for: executive dinners and board-level client hospitality where the setting carries the message.
Faena Forum
Faena Forum, designed by Rem Koolhaas and OMA, offers 43,000 square feet of flexible space on Collins Avenue in Mid-Beach: two exhibit halls that combine into one room, a 2,900-square-foot rose marble amphitheater with built-in seating, and five meeting rooms. Capacity reaches 1,000 standing. The adjacent Faena Hotel adds the gold-and-velvet Faena Theater for about 100 guests, plus restaurant buyouts for smaller groups.

Best for: brand launches, creative-industry conferences, and TED-style talks.
Product launches and experiential events
The Temple House
The Temple House is a 1933 Art Deco building by L. Murray Dixon in South Beach, run as a standalone private venue for up to 500 guests. Its main room has 23-foot arched ceilings, a mezzanine, and a permanent 360-degree projection mapping system that can cover every wall and the ceiling.
The in-house team handles projection content, lighting, sound, and catering coordination, and the building includes a full commercial kitchen and ADA access. Its client list includes Google, HBO, Dior, and Spotify.

Because it’s standalone, there are no shared ballrooms and no hotel guests wandering through your reception. It’s within walking distance of the convention center, which makes it a common choice for off-site evening events during MBCC conferences.
Best for: product launches, sales kickoffs with a brand story, and evening events of 150 to 500.
Midline Miami at Arlo Wynwood
Midline Miami opened in January 2026 on the ground floor of Arlo Wynwood. The 10,195-square-foot room holds 850, with calibrated concert sound, advanced lighting, three bars, and a VIP entrance. The venue markets itself for talks, conferences, and activations as well as concerts.
Best for: company parties, creator events, and conference after-parties in Wynwood.
The LAB Miami
The LAB Miami is a Wynwood coworking and event space with a stage, a large LED presentation screen, private boardrooms, and several conference rooms. It suits startup demo days, hackathons, and workshops where a hotel ballroom would feel oversized.
Best for: tech meetups, workshops, and investor sessions under 200.
Waterfront receptions
Island Gardens
Island Gardens on Watson Island sits on a superyacht marina between downtown and Miami Beach, just off the MacArthur Causeway. The Deck, an open-air waterfront space with an awning, skyline views, and yachts moored alongside, holds up to 500. The wider property, including an event lawn, hosts events for 20 to more than 2,000. The alcohol license runs until 1 a.m.
Best for: welcome receptions and sunset networking events on either side of the bay.
New venues worth tracking in 2026
Several spaces opened or reopened in the past year, and they won’t appear on older venue lists.
Freedom Exhibition Center at Gale Miami Hotel and Residences
Opened downtown in September 2025. The 30,000-square-foot space seats 2,000 to 3,000, with 15-foot walls and balconies facing Biscayne Bay. Rental pricing starts at $15,000 per day.
Fooq’s
The venue reopened in Little River in January 2026 with a vinyl listening lounge upstairs. It publishes unusually detailed pricing: food and beverage minimums of $85 to $250 per person, outdoor buyouts from $20,000, and full venue buyouts from $50,000.
Slim’s,
A Starr Restaurants steakhouse at Bal Harbour Shops, began operations in March 2026. Corporate menus start at $75 per person for lunch and $145 for dinner, with full buyouts starting at $40,000.
UNFRAMED, Autograph Collection
Opened in South Beach in April 2026 with 149 rooms, a rooftop terrace, and breakout rooms for small retreats. Room blocks start at 10 rooms per night.
What corporate venues cost in Miami
Published rates give you a usable baseline for budgeting:
- Museum spaces: $4,000 to $16,500 for a single space at PAMM, before catering and AV.
- Historic estates: low-to-mid five figures in site fees at Vizcaya, plus mandatory tenting over 100 guests.
- Restaurant buyouts: $40,000 to $50,000 for full buyouts at new upscale restaurants, with per-person minimums of $75 to $300.
- Exhibition space: from $15,000 per day at the Freedom Exhibition Center.
- Hotels: typically waive or reduce room rental against a food and beverage minimum and a room block, so the number that matters is the F&B minimum per day.
Three factors move these numbers more than venue choice. Season: November through April is peak, with the lowest rates in late summer. Day of week: Sunday through Tuesday dates often come with lower minimums. Citywide events: Art Basel week in early December and large MBCC conventions push hotel rates up across the city.
The G20 leaders’ summit, scheduled for December 14 and 15, 2026, at Trump National Doral, will also tighten mid-December availability and security around Doral.
Contract questions specific to Miami
Ask these before you sign:
Is catering exclusive, and is AV exclusive? At PAMM and Frost Science, both are fixed, which removes your ability to shop them.
What is the outdoor sound curfew? Miami Beach enforces a 10:30 p.m. end for outdoor amplified sound at venues such as Fontainebleau.
What is the weather call deadline and rain plan? Get the indoor backup space, and the time you must decide, written into the contract at no additional fee.
Is there a hurricane or named-storm clause? Standard force majeure language may not cover a watch that suppresses attendance without closing the venue.
Are police or traffic officers required? Vizcaya recommends them for events over 200 guests, billed to the client.
Which dates carry premium pricing? Museum rates often exclude Art Week, and hotels price citywide weeks separately.
Is the venue under renovation? InterContinental Miami and other properties are mid-refresh. Confirm which rooms will be finished by your date.
Frequently asked questions
What is the largest corporate venue in Miami?
The Miami Beach Convention Center, with 500,000 square feet of exhibition halls and 84 breakout rooms. Among hotels, Fontainebleau Miami Beach has the most meeting space: 107,000 square feet in its main conference center, plus 45,000 in the Coastal Convention Center.
When is the best time to hold a corporate event in Miami?
November through April has the driest and mildest weather, but also the highest rates. May and the first half of June offer lower pricing before the peak of hurricane season. Avoid Art Basel week in early December unless your event is tied to it.
Which Miami venues work for small executive meetings?
The Biltmore’s boardrooms and Conference Center of the Americas, PAMM’s Hoffman Boardroom, Fontainebleau’s seven conference suites, and Loews Miami Beach’s 16-seat executive boardroom all handle groups under 20.
Should a Miami corporate event be on the beach or the mainland?
Match the venue to the hotel block. Downtown and Brickell work better for groups with local attendees, Metrorail access, and quick MIA transfers. Miami Beach works for fly-in groups that stay on site and want the beach as part of the program. Crossing the causeways for every session adds time and transport cost.
Do Miami venues offer bilingual services?
Most large hotels and many vendors provide English and Spanish support, which suits Latin American regional meetings and mixed-language teams. Confirm interpretation equipment separately, since it usually comes through the AV provider.
